Rb42 - Charming & Historic House

The position it’s perfect, you are in the middle of the island. It was amazing to go jogging in Mdina every morning. The house it’s stunning! I was simply great to wake up in the morning and having breakfast on the rooftop with a view of Mdina. The gold-coloured limestone keeps the temperature of the house comfortable. I really loved the laundry with the sink and everything you need for washing, drying and ironing your clothes in just one room.

The floor wasn’t clean properly, we had to ask few times to clean it and at the end we just asked for an hoover for cleaning it by ourselves. I personally don’t like the mattress with a memory foam, my back has been affected after nearly a month sleeping on that.

Beautiful property lovingly restored. We had a very comfortable 4 nights here. Close to Mdina and many restaurants and supermarkets.

There are a lot of stairs! Also, there wasn’t really anywhere just to chill out together in comfort. It would have been nice to have had a small welcome pack of milk and water and there were no tea towels for drying up or dish cloths for wiping surfaces down. I couldn’t find the hairdryer! But these are just niggles- overall the place was great.

An architecturally interesting building, beautifully restored and immaculate. Every room on a separate level, linked by a stylish spiral staircase. A well equipped kitchen and laundry, and a nice roof terrace to sit out on. A good position just a short walk from Rabat centre, and an easy walk to Mdina.

Not a house for anyone with mobility problems, due to the number of stairs. Nothing provided in the kitchen, such as tea and coffee. The check-in / handover was very rushed. We were not allowed to leave our cases out of the way in the basement after 10 a.m. checkout, so with a late flight this is a problem if you do not have a car.

Beautifully restored home with modern facilities. It was lovely to have an outdoor space to sit also. Quiet location and only a short walk from Mdina and the catacombs.

The house is unique, very nicely and modernly furnished. We are glad that we chose it, because it was the first time we had the opportunity to sleep in such a sandstone house. The location in the very center of Rabat was also nice, there were quite a few parking spaces around, so finding a place was not such a problem. To sum up, a great place 🙂

The only downside is the large number of stairs in the house, but this is visible in the photos so it cannot be a surprise.

The house is beautyful. There is really clean. It's more then we expected. This is a premium apartment in really convinient price.

To be honest, I can't find enything to be mentioned here.

What a gem of a place. It's central and the most beautiful accommodation you can find. There is so much attention to detail in the construction and refinement of this building. It's full of light and charm. It feels large and spacious.

If you don't mind steps this is for you. If you are unable to climb the staircases this may not be for you. That would be the only downside of this accommodation. So if your capable is well worth it.

The house is amazing. Great design, very comfy for us 3, big beds, equipped kitchen, every breakfast at terrace with a view was unforgettable. It was quite easy to find thanx to remarkable doors colour and location is just perfect.

Beautiful house, perfect location for us on a quiet street, but easy walk to mdina and bus stops. Comfortable beds, washing facilities, 2 shower rooms, little rooftop dining table. Helpful owner when we didn't realise there was an extra switch for the hot water.

Minor things like couldn't understand all the light switches, couldn't get the microwave to work. Lots of steps, not a problem for us, but for anyone with mobility issues it wouldn't be suitable. The street numbers are odd too, took us a little while to find it.
