Coastal Cabin - Downtown Historical Log Home

A fantastic historic house in downtown Anchorage. The interior is decorated in a 1930s-1940s style. Incredibly well-equipped with everything you need, it's clean and cozy. Location and proximity to everything in Anchorage. Here for a race and was right by start line

The floors creaked badly and only having a bathroom downstairs was inconvenient

We loved the location and having a yard with a picnic table. We had everything we needed and more because the cupboards were stocked. The whole kitchen was stocked! We enjoyed having wonderful beds! Thanks for a great stay!

The beds were upstairs but the bathroom was on the main floor. Our age played a major part of the bathroom dilemma.

Cute little place, great to stay in Alaskan style house. Very well situated for Downtown Anchorage & felt very safe. Very warm and the beds were super comfy. Special thanks too & apologies as I messed up the booking and we were able to extend for the extra night I thought I’d already booked! We would have been very stuck without that!

Could have been a little cleaner - 2nd bedroom (single beds) dirty window cill with coffee cup stains and large amount of dust on floor behind post. Hole in ceiling.

A historical cabin next to downtown and the Coastal Trail walk, and very private. History and charm and quiet coast are perfectly combined to make a perfect spot for a romantic vacation.

An iron would be nice.

Proximity to all and very safe feeling.

I like historic properties and expect their quirky charm so other than a few light bulbs out there wasn’t a thing I didn’t like.

Cute old log cabin full of charms such as a creaky staircase, a food kitchen we prepared meals in most nights. When we first entered the property there was some smell which we couldn’t place but we didn’t notice it after a while of being inside. The cabin was warm and cozy with a nice lounge room for watching tv.

Room with twin beds is a trundle which as a married couple in our 50’s we weren’t expecting for a 4 night stay. The room was small so the trundle had to be packed away each morning.

Handy location for accessing the coastal path. Simple, clean facilities for a short stay in Anchorage before a trip through Alaska.
