Coastal Cabin - Downtown Historical Log Home

This is a rustic small old log cabin but it is in a great location - just 7 mins walk from downtown area, it has everything you need in a compact space and is incredibly cheap for a family of four in Anchorage . Hosts were clear in communication . Plus it is in a quiet location - just far enough from the trains not to be woken by the train honking. We’d stay again and I’d highly recommend

We loved just being there. It was like staying in a museum as it was rich with history. The location was ideal, convenient yet quiet. The yard was lovely and spacious. Parking was very convenient. The beds were comfortable. The living room gets lots of sunlight and is pleasant to sit in. It was stocked with some staples, which was much appreciated.. It was hard to leave.

I liked the self check in since we didn't know what time we were arriving

Loved the location. The quaint cabin. The history of the place. Walk to good restaurants.

Location was close to downtown. Liked the classical music when we arrived and also appreciated the disposable baking pan since most baking pans we use at AirBnbs are not the cleanest.

Did not like that we couldn’t drop off our luggage. We had to sit in a coffee shop with our luggage until we could check in. Would have appreciated being able to drop off our luggage so that we could walk around instead of waiting.

The log house was wonderful. Clean and spotless. Nice quiet street, close to downtown

It's a beautiful accommodation for the family of 4. For us two it was a little bit of expensive, but that's not the fault of the property owners:)
