1403 Menlyn Maine Trilogy

Beautiful room, nice comfortable bed with airconditioning.

Very nice and stylish apartment in a great location, clean with 2 exceptions. Great facilities at the hotel, including a pool and a bar:restaurant on the 16th floor. Easy access to Sunbet arena and lots of restaurants.

Awkward communication, until I phoned the hotel and was informed that this was a privately owned unit and that the person I had been talking to via the booking.com app was probably the owner herself. We had paid extra for early check-in/late check-out, but the owner forgot to inform the reception and on the day of departure the card that one needs for all doors and the lift was deactivated at 10:30. Since we left a bit later, the lift wouldn’t work and we had to carry our luggage 14 flights of stairs down to the reception. On complaining to the owner she reimbursed the 100 Rand I had paid for late check-out, but more careful and upfront communication and explanation would have gone a long way in avoiding misunderstandings and delays.

Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room is beautiful.

Would have liked better coffee, maybe a nice coffee machine!

Shower had an extremely awful smell. It appeared to be coming from the drain, once we showered the smell dissipated

1403 Menlyn Maine Trilogy is a great place to stay. It is very convenient and a walk away from restaurants. It is located in a safe area, and I definitely would recommend it and will be back.

Amazing apartment, beautifully decorated and brilliant views and situated in a great area.
