Renovated 2024 - Viking inspired - Behind bryggen

The location was fantastic- just a few minutes walk into Bryygen.

It is tiny! We were a family of 4 so our 12 and 14 year old sons had to share quite a narrow sofa bed which wasn’t ideal. The bedroom had a good double bed but no space for a bedside table. The dining table was for two only, although there were a couple of spare folding chairs. It’s much better suited to a couple rather than a family but ok for a night’s stay.

Quite good location very close to the old center of the city and close to bus stops.

The apartman was very small for four people. The bed was too soft.

Location is good, kitchen is well equipped. Door lock was easy to use. Host was very friendly and helpful.

I've rented several apartments in Bergen during my trip, all costing about the same. I have to admit, this apartment doesn't offer good value for the money. - The apartment is on the first floor, with big trash cans right under the windows. When you open the window, all the smell comes into the apartment, so we had to keep the windows closed. - There was a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom, even though the fan (hood) was always on. - The walls between apartments are very thin, so you can hear your neighbours. When someone comes down from the second floor, you hear every step, making it very uncomfortable if you want to go to sleep early. - The overall condition of the apartment is not as good as described. In reality, it looks worse than in the photos.

Very nice and clean, has all that you need. Wonderful location.

This property has been our favorite during our stay in Scandinavia. It is the most beautiful, with lovely subtle and direct Viking inspired touches, and was furnished with everything you could possibly need. Will return if we travel to Bergen again for sure, no question. The key code is something the guest is familiar with, which makes is easier.
