GBGBI paid for a night and haven’t received my refund
GBGBIt was in a very good location for us as we were visiting friends who lived in the area.
Sadly we booked for 6 people as it's advertised as accommodating 6, but the sofa bed was broken and there was no bedding or towels for it. Because we were out all day we only realised later at night when we got back, so 2 of our party had to sleep on the floor of th living room. While the accommodation is very reasonably priced, and the other rooms were perfectly comfortable, we would assume that by advertising for 6 people you would ensure that there is actually a bed, bedding, and provisions for 6 people. We have given them time to respond by contacting directly before writing a review, but haven't heard back from them for about a month. Booking.com have given us a small refund as a gesture, but I would have appreciated a response from the owners themselves.
GBVery disappointing. After travelling for around 3 hours, we were informed about 20 minutes after the check-in time that our booking was being cancelled due to a leak. By that point we were already just 10 minutes away from the property. This left us scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute after a long journey. While issues can happen, cancelling after check-in time with almost no notice is extremely inconvenient for guests. Future guests should be aware this situation could leave them without a place to stay on arrival.
GBGBThe host contacted me on the day I was travelling with my 2 daughters to say she’d double booked, I was on the train heading and she left me and 2 young girls with no where to go. She said she messaged weeks back but I only booked I’d 5 days previous. A disgrace of a host.

Fittings etc very basic,
GBLooked nothing like the photos. The places had been trashed and poorly put back together. Blood on the walls, broken furniture, flooring was uneven as if floor boards were broken underneath the laminate, smelt like weed, sockets hanging off the walls.
