188 Apartments - Petúnia - Pool and Balcony

This was my 4th time to Cascais, and I have now discovered a HIDDEN GEM. From the minute we arrived, we received an amazing welcome from Alexandre. We arrived on an early flight and Alexandre arranged for us to leave our luggage. The apartment is located right across the road from a fabulous new supermarket where we went to each morning for lovely fresh breads etc. The apartment was bright, clean, and very well equipped. The swimming pool was spotless clean and was cleanned every night robotically. There was a beautiful bottle of local wine and cookies along with a really nice welcome note. This attention to detail stole my heart. Alexandre is an amazing,ing host and takes great pride in maintaining his apartments, all of the sunbeds and even the walls were washed regularly during our stay. I am looking forward to our next trip to 188 Petunia already.

Our stay at 188 Petunia was delightful. We took full advantage of the apartment and huge wraparound balcony, a treat during the golden hours of the late afternoon. The pool was great, a lovely temperature and nice depth. Alexandre was a pleasure to deal with also. We can’t wait to return again soon :)

We recently had the pleasure of staying in apartment Petúnia in Cascais and can highly recommend it for anyone seeking a comfortable and memorable experience on the Portuguese coast. The apartment’s location was excellent. Close to all the beautiful sights that Cascais has to offer. This made it easy to explore all the beautiful places without needing a car. The apartment itself was modern, spotlessly clean. The décor was tasteful and well-equipped, with everything needed for a comfy stay. The host Alexandre was extremely kind and helpful, providing useful tips about the area and ensuring a smooth check-in process. Any questions or requests were handled promptly and with a smile, which made us feel very welcome. Overall, the value for money was excellent, considering the quality of the accommodation and the prime location. We had a very pleasant stay.

No Parking. Challenging to use the stove😁

Clean and well equipped - excellent location - superb and informative welcome from Alex (thank you) - a great spot and highly recommended.

No dislikes - maybe a suggestion; 10Euros per beach towel is rather high, might 5Euros per towel be fairer ? And - this will be temporary (Sept 2024) - there are building works opposite where they are pile-driving from 8am - eventually they will abate. And next doors dogs do bark but only when they are initially left by the owners - they quiet down after a while.

The apartment was situated in a lovely area . The apartment was perfect for us and Alex was very welcoming and gave us great advise re restaurants and beaches in the area .we could walk into Cascais in 20 mins .He was a fantastic host . Some lovely coastal walks close by .There was a supermarket also nearby .A trip by train to Lisbon took 40 mins and well worth a visit .It was lovely to be able to return to the apartment in the evening and use the pool in the back garden .
