HOMELY - Executive Suite 72m2 -Sauna

Booked for work purpose. And WiFi was not usable at all. You had to stand right under the router to get any reception. Dissapointed. Had to book another place because we had calls scheduled.

Location was great and it was nice to have more space than in a hotel room. Fantastic being able to wash clothes even if the combo washer/dryer machine made it pretty painful.

The fridge did not work and we were asked if we could meet and let a repair man into the apartment. Since were didn't want to spend half of a day waiting we had no fridge for our stay. It would have been nice to have better curtains in the main room, since that was where the second bed was. Since there was only partial curtain, it was bright for a lot of your sleeping hours which is less than ideal.

Great place to stay very centrally in Helsinki right next to the central station and close to busses. Nice view to the park from the livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom with sauna. Quiet and clean place. Aleksi was a very responsive host. We would love to stay there again.

When we arrived at the accommodation, the host did not provide any information on how to enter the apartment. The main phone number to contact the host is not from Finland and had no whatsapp account, which made it difficult to contact the host. Finally, we were able to contact him and enter the apartment. Unfortunately, the place did not look like the pictures. It was dirty (hair on the matras, food on the ground, bathroom not cleaned properly, ... ) and there were not enough curtains, which was very disappointing since the sun shines almost the whole day and night in June. Overall we did not like the environment. Because of all these reasons we decided not to sleep in this place and booked something else.

Excellent location, smooth arrival, spacious living room, well equipped kitchen.

The shadowing in the bedroom was unsatisfactory and the needed basic curtains were simply missing in the living room. That meant we all had to sleep together in the bedroom and it was still too bright to sleep well so the sleeping quality was poor. Only one key is provided to the apartment. That situation needed more difficult logistics when we were planning the days. The sauna heating was not efficient, it was impossible to heat up over 65 degrees although we all know the Finnish sauna starts over 80 degrees Celsius. So the sauna was cold while the whole bathroom was heated up.
