The Host. Booking. com sent us a confirmation and pin to get in So I didn’t worry any further. I was traveling for a family funeral I didn’t need any problems just a place to sleep On arrival at 17h30 the security advised the office was closed. I gave the pin as requested I phoned the number on the email who was Hettie Du Plooy and got screamed at because I asked how I gain access. I was advised I didn’t confirm my booking! Booking.com confirmed my booking, that was the last correspondence I received. I was screamed at as I had not paidthe breakage deposit. I never received any details of how to pay. The guard assisted us with requested pin. he then escorted us to the unit where a lady had opened and gave us the keys. The key box was broken which I pointed out! advised/screamed by Hettie that I was sent 3 emails of which I did not receive or I would have complied. The following day I was accused of breaking into the unit. Further had to pay the breakage deposit. Which I duly did as an instant payment and sent proof of payment. I requested on 9/2/24 where to leave the keys on departure. And I was told where I found them. I relayed the story but had no reply On Sunday 10/2/24 9 30 am I sent a message advising I left the keys at security. I got a very rude message back, screaming at me again I can’t leave at security. I immediately reminded that I had asked the previous day with no response and asked what I must do I didn’t receive a response. Hettie kept saying she didn’t know we were arriving. But when I questioned who she sent the 3 emails to, she said through Booking.com So she must of known of the booking and payment was made! So I have no idea what happened here but however, I adhered to my commitments. I request that you look into this. Above all else, I am disgusted in the way I was spoken to and treated. I will never entertain this place again because of the host and never recommend. I await my depi

The beds linen & pillows had a bad ordure & smelled , even the lounge couch had smell. There are no carpets or mats on the floor even in bathrooms no towel or even a kitchen cloth ( even through the site says towel provided). Beds not comfortable , never used the dishes & kitchen as its not even in good condition no washing liquid. Only one positive is the shower was good.

The location was perfect. The Security guards are very pleasant and helpful. They go their way to ensure that as a guest you are well treated and taken care of. The staff in general was very friendly.

The host was initially very rude and unfriendly to me when I contacted her for the keys. After engaging a bit more, she came aorund and we were in good terms afterwards. Even though I came after 14h00, the room was not clean and was smelly and stuffy. We were able to accomodate the situation, by going to do some shopping while the lady started cleaning.

Allocation for load shedding especially candles were not there, towels not provided
