Luxurious Retreat - Hot Tub - Pool Table - Gym - Sauna - Cinema Room - Free Parking - WiFi - Close to Beach

We booked Peartrees for a pre-Christmas family get-together and it was absolutely spot on. The house is spacious, sociable and really well laid out for groups of different ages. The open-plan kitchen and living areas were ideal for cooking, chatting and spending time together. The kitchen had everything we needed and worked brilliantly as a central hub. The pool table was a massive hit and saw plenty of competitive games across the stay – it’s a proper, high-quality table and great fun for adults and teenagers alike. The younger generation loved the hot tub and used it at every opportunity, while others enjoyed the cinema room downstairs for films and downtime. Everything felt clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up. The beach is closer than advertised – Boscombe is an easy walk – and Southbourne’s restaurants are well worth the stroll. A brilliant place for making memories.

Comfortable, welcoming and ideal for a festive break We had a really lovely stay at Peartrees while meeting friends and enjoying some Christmas shopping in Bournemouth. The house felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and was clearly very well cared for. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. We liked the eco feel of the property – it was nice to stay somewhere that’s clearly trying to be more sustainable without it feeling over the top or inconvenient. The weather wasn’t great one afternoon, so we made good use of the basement cinema room, which was cosy and perfect for settling in with a film. The hot tub was another highlight – clean, hot and very relaxing in even the weather was not too bad. The location worked well for us. Boscombe beach is much closer than expected and Southbourne, with its great restaurants and cafés, is an easy 20-minute walk. We’d happily stay again.

The property was very spacious, plenty of room for a large group, good parking and had all the facilities needed and more. It is also a short walking distance from the beach and town centre.

Spacious with 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Also plenty of space in kitchen, dining and living room. Compact but well organised garden with hot tub, bbq, gym and sauna room where you were not overlooked by close neighbours.

Cinema room down steep stairs in cellar which smells damp ( owners made aware) but it did have stair gate for young children. Walk to beach 30 minutes with young children so misleading to say close to beach and steep walk back. Pillows and bedding were not luxurious.

Very clean, great location. The perfect family stay for our family and little dog.

The house is perfect for teens with all the facilities. They've thought of everything and we didn't get any boredom complaints! Location is a great base for exploring the local area. Also great that it's dog friendly.

I liked everything

The location was great in terms of being near Bournemouth Town Centre. The layout was great and hot tub was excellent. Pool table got a lot of use too!

The beds were a bit too soft which was just a preference issue. The showers were slightly temperamental in terms of pressure, but perfectly manageable.
