"Horribly kept property, felt like it was mid renovation."

The communication was really good when we arrived

The house was really dirty, dusty and everything was sticky. It had a strong smell of bleach when we went in and the photo description did not match the house in person. Although the house owner is lovely and helpful in communication, it's not a place I or anyone I came with would like to return to. The mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable. While the property was advertised as having 2 double beds, it had a double and a single in reality. Exceedingly low value for money.

There was a couple of things in the advert on booking.com that wasn't true like there was no sofa bed so my brother had to take the bed my son was supposed to be sleeping in and my son had to share the bed with me and the sofas wasn't really big enough for adults either. There was no garden like the advert had said either. It wasn't very clean, cupboards and sides in the kitchen had something sticky on them. Plates and cutlery was unwashed. There was also quite a few damages when we arrived. It wasn't really safe for children either. Like the water pipes on show downstairs, and loads of wires on show. There was a chain lock in the bigger room that was hanging off. It just wasn't what I was expecting for £150 for 2 nights.
