AUThe property was great for our needs. Close to public transport, shops and cafes. comfortable, clean with a well equiped kitchen. If we return to DC, we would stay here again.
Nothing really
GBFabulous location and very well equipped. Lots of shops and restaurants and easy access to the Metro. Excellent coffee machine!

USOn the plus, the unit was in a good location, clean and stocked with necessities. However, if you are at all handicapped, don't stay here. The pool has no walk in - only ladders. Everything inside is very low to ground (toilet, couch). The only way to eat is at a bar on the high stools. I can't sit on high stools and neither can my husband.
I had some issues, and issues happen... things break etc. But the bottom line is how it is handled. If I was offered any compensation, even half a day's fee, I would have left a more positive review. But when I asked, I was told "booking agreement is non refundable" Sorry, that does not cut it. If I was at a hotel - Booking or not - and had issues that made promised amenities not available as well as inconvenienced in a way that took away a day of our stay to sit in a room to wait for help with an issue... a hotel or host would do something - offer something - to apologize for this issue. Once I was basically told "tough, that is the booking.com policy" , I decided I had to write this review. This is my first negative review ever on a stay. I don't normally do this, but I have to because it's not right. We were three people, so we needed both beds - one of the reasons we booked here. When we arrived, we discovered that the second bed was broke. We messaged the host. He said he was sending over a handyman to look at it and to let him in (which means we were forced to stay there in the unit basically the first day and night). We could not go anywhere or do anything. We barely got to eat because the guy did not show up until after 7:30 and by the time all was said and done, it was 9pm on a weeknight, and most restaurants were closed or about to close, and we had to order in pizza. We lost the whole day and evening. Additionally, the mattress had to be put on the floor, and the frame broken down. We told him we were ok with the mattress on the floor, but the balcony was also out of commission (another unusable advertised amenity) because all the bedframing was being stored on it making it inaccessible. As I said, these things happen, but when the host refuses to offer ANYTHING for all of the inconvenience, lost day of activity, loss of advertised amenities, it is unacceptable imo.
