House of Palm - One of a Kind

Very centrally located, excellent communication with host, facilities generally very good - good bed, nice shower, living room/kitchen with all equipment needed to cook, a tv - great place for a few days or even longer. There was also a kettle and some tea bags, which was appreciated. We had difficulties opening the window shutters, let the host know and they were opened for us immediately - really appreciated it.

Very minor thing, but the word "luxury" was used and I couldn't call our stay luxurious, just very good; we had only two rolls of toilet paper for our 10 day stay, so we had to purchase some more; I'm sure we could've asked the host and they would've obliged, but we decided to purchase our own. Further, the trim around the shower had definitely seen some better days - again, we had a great stay, but "luxury" wouldn't be the word we'd use.

WiFi needs improvement

The house is old and beautifully renovated, in the apartment there was everything we needed, all equipment worked, the beds were comfortable enough. The personnel was helpful. The hotel is located in vibrant artsy pedestrian zone, good food, local market, close to the beach.

Taxis couldn't arrive directly to the hotel because of the pedestrian zone
