House of Palm - One of a Kind

Great location for a lively TLV scene. Bed was firm and comfortable.

Missing some extra pillows, toilet paper, etc. No customer service during weekend and holidays.

We stayed in the two bedroom flat- Window shutters were broken (light came in at sunrise), also unable to have privacy unless you close the black out curtains (as there are no lighter curtains to close). Bathroom handle was broken, wardrobe shelf was broke, aircon was noisy and blew out cold air in one of the room and hot in the others. Could not sleep with the aircon on. Winter blankets were not warm enough (we had to wear warm clothes to sleep with), the place was not properly clean. There was no sugar or coffee capsules to put in the machine. No dishwasher and no tray to dry up the dishes after wash. Windows are not sound proof and it is a very busy and noisy road late at night and early in the morning. No safe in the room to put valuable, and the landlord not available on Saturdays.

The loft was spacious. Location was great. It had everything we needed

The only thing that annoyed us was when we arrived there, the toilet paper roll was almost finished. We had time to go to the store to buy some. It would be terrible if some family checked in late at night.

The location was exactly what we were looking for

Blinds were not working.

The location is quite good, right at the entrance to the Carmel Market. Approx. 10-15 mins walking to the beach. Our apartment was on the 2nd floor and unlike some other guests experiences (from the comments) we were not hearing much of street noise. The apartment was clean, there were towels, some basic little cosmetics. When we run out of toilet paper, we asked for more and very soon a cleaning staff delivered it to our apartment. We asked for washing powder and they brought us some too, very appreciated. The owner is easily reachable (if only it's not Shabbat), friendly and willing to help and provide what you need. The A/C works perfectly and we appreciated cool air in the apartment after spending some time in the hot wave outside (we had A/C in the kitchen, living room and the bedroom).

I would not call the apartment luxurious, it's just fine. Little details require renovation (e.g. tap in the kitchen). The WiFi works very poorly. The router in our room had inactive sim card, so you could connect only with the network shared for the whole floor (and the signal is poor). We ended up buying our own sim and used local mobile network internet. We got a message on a Friday evening reminding us that the checkout was the following day on Saturday, which was clearly not true as we booked until Sunday. We believe it was sent by mistake, but the owner disconnected totally for 2 days (I guess due to Shabbat) and never replied to our message to clarify it. It doesn't feel right, drop a message and disconnect. We had some stress not knowing what to expect on Saturday morning.
