HOUSE Cavour 24 In the heart of Downtown Parma

The apartment was delightful, and Marta went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She ever offered to go and shop for a replacement for a piece of our luggage that had broken! The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The location could not have been better. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This very comfortable little light-filled apartment was in the perfect location for exploring Parma. It is walking distance to all the artistic and architectural sights, and to excellent restaurants. We highly recommend it.

Posizione centralissima per un appartamento accogliente e confortevole. La proprietaria, Marta, molto gentile e disponibile. Vista mozzafiato dalla camera da letto!

A person helping the owner met us at the building and brought us into the apartment.

We could not stay in this property because of its infestation with tens upon tens upon tens of the tiny red spider mites crawling all over the place. We snapped many photos - of the spiders and the red marks remaining if they were crushed - on the bed, on the floor, on the furniture... A few photos are attached. The owner, who we called immediately, said that it was a common issue in the attic rooms in Parma at this time of the year. However, she did not provide this information on Booking.com in advance; if she did, we would never book this apartment. She did though promptly inform Booking.com that she agreed to refund 100% of our payment, which we were grateful for. She also tried to help accommodate us at another place and offered to stay in a her friend’s apartment instead. We appreciated her efforts, and considered that option for a while, but ultimately decided not to take a risk of getting in any other issue with another apartment… So we had to search for another place to stay - and we were under tremendous stress of doing that in such a rush! No wonder, selection of decent places in the city center was extremely limited at that time, especially given that it was the eve of the Labor Day holiday. As a result, we had to pay 190 euros more for the new booking. :(

Posizione centrale, ottima per visitare la città, comoda per la stazione. Ambiente riservato, pulito, accogliente, accessoriato anche nei dettagli. Gentilissima la proprietaria, che ci ha favorito assecondando le nostre necessità Si, soddisfatti della nostra scelta

L’accueil très cordial avec Marta, l’appartement est cosy, joliment décoré avec une vue saisissante sur le sommet de la basilique. Mais plus que tout l’emplacement en hyper centre , dans une rue piétonne commerciale. L.appartement est très propre, rien ne manque et tous les ingrédients de base sont les bienvenus et à profusion dès l’arrivée. Mérite plus de 10 sur 10 . Nous le conseillons vivement ! Toutes les visites se font à pied dans une atmosphère de calme, de douceur avec des Parmesans qui se multiplient pour vous rendre service avant même que vous ayez sollicité leur aide
