Cosy Barn Conversion 3BR (4 pax), Quiet, Close to Pin Mill

Alovely quiet location with beautiful views over the fields.

Great place to stay. Clean, warm and comfortable

Good location with open country views.

Property was much smaller than expected, not suitable for 4 adults. No folder containing instruction booklets for any of the appliances/heating. Kitchen was poor. There were dirty cups and cutlery, the oven was filthy and the grill pan was disgusting. Poor hot water pressure to the sinks. No washing up bowl meant you had to fill the sink. Frying pan had seen better days, kitchen knives useless. Kitchen bin had no lid. No information on recyclng. Electric heater in kitchen was 'hidden' under the table and no mention was made of it in the property description. We froze for 2 days before finding the heater. The wood burning fire in the lounge was filthy, door glass black, ash left in pan, no way the fire would stay alight, indicating that the chimney probably hasn't been swept for a long time. Logs supplied were not seasoned wood, just scraps of wood that looked like they had been picked up from the roadside None of the curtains fitted the windows properly. The property is described as cosy - it is cosy {small} but not cosy {warm and comfortable} Property in need of some TLC and investment in quality equipment.

Great communication with the hosts. The accommodation was maybe basic but had a nice feel about it and we enjoyed our stay over Christmas 🎄 The location and peacefulness maid our stay very enjoyable. Must be even better in summer with the outside space . We will certainly book again .Chelmondiston is lovely and Pin mill is a stunning place to visit. Also pet friendly what is great given the location.

The fridge had no ice compartment what would have been nice

Excellent host James ..allowed us in much earlier as it was raining and we was switching accommodation

Not enclosed garden but we managed with our dogs and the walks views and countryside made up for it

Lighting rather dim Bed undersheet seemed too small
