Cosy Barn Conversion 3BR (4 pax), Quiet, Close to Pin Mill

Plenty of space for our stay. Accommodation had everything we needed. Hosts were great in that we never saw them (no offense!). Very clear instructions on accessing the property delivered at the right time (i.e. not too far in advance or when you are driving to the location). Very quiet accommodation and ideal for the purpose of our trip.

Nothing really, but if you insist on something a slightly bigger sofa and some of the light switches are not in the most logical of places!

Lovely location, beautiful surroundings. Set in a quiet Suffolk village.

After a 5 hour drive and a traumatic afternoon at my brother's wake we arrived at 6.30 pm to this little barn conversion off the main road where we had been looking forward to a restful break in lovely Suffolk. To start with the keysafe was unsecured just pushed shut. We entered the premises to be greeted by a used bath towel on the kitchen table and others discarded around the property.  Lights were all left turned on. Dirty cups and glasses in the sink, used razor left in a bedroom. Used beds and toilet unflushed!! I contacted the owner to lodge my complaint, he was apologetic and arranged for the cleaner to attend and sort out the accommodation. We drove to Felixstowe to get fish and chips . On our return at 9pm it was clear that someone else had been there, lights were on and the floors were literally awash (seriously we’ve been in for two hours and there’s still pools of water over the kitchen floor – like the guy came in and sluiced it out!) Beds have been changed and all clean towels and that’s about the extent. The kitchen sink is still badly stained as are the mugs! There was rice stuck to a cabinet in the kitchen. So disappointed as the photos were clearly taken a good while ago and no longer reflect the condition of the property. The cupboards in the kitchen are in a poor state of repair with a knob missing from a cabinet, the end strip  on the counter top is spitting away. There is a chip in bathroom sink. Nitpicky? No! When you rent accommodation you expect the owner to inspect regularly to ensure the property standards are maintained. This property, in my view falls well short.

Nice homely cottage tucked away in a quiet location but not isolated. Everythingl was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked a treat ! Nice little garden too.

For me personally, a blind on the half glass kitchen door would have been good.

The quietness of the property's location Had nice walks from the property. Easy parking. Nice all on one level. Nice outside area and looking over the fields to the front.

The outside space and bedrooms

Very cosy, lovely location. Easy access to local amenities. Good car parking. Lovely little wood fire, with comfy sofas. Excellent cooking facilities.

No towels or bath matt. Bathroom floor got very wet with no mop or means to clean up that we could find. Somewhere to store muddy shoes would be good as entrance goes straight into kitchen.
