Apartment 112 @ Ryedale House

The apartment is well placed for access to York town centre. Easy access with the key and fob in a key safe. Lots of space in the living areas. Full TV, soundbar etc. Games for rainy days and children. Good quality appliances and fixtures. Both bedrooms en suite with separate guest loo as well. Underfloor heating in large living area and bathrooms easy to use. Panel heater in bedrooms. Washer, iron and ironing board and hairdryer included.

When the apartment above you uses the shower you can hear the water as if it is running down the wall of the smaller bedroom. You can also hear their underfloor heating come on at 7am. It's says that free parking is available. This makes it appear that a parking space is available on site. IT IS NOT!! You can get an off site digital pass from Stays York for council sites if you send in your car reg. number. The beds are described as large and extra large. THEY ARE NOT!! The main room has a 5 feet king-size bed ( although there is plenty of space for a super king 6 foot bed which I would class as extra large) Very soft mattress on bed. The second much smaller room has two SMALL single beds. They measure 30 inches which is the size of a bunk bed mattress. More suited for children rather than adults. The bathroom in smaller bedroom is tiny. Vanity not full sink. No shelves for toiletries or hooks for clothes etc. They have to go on the floor. No hanging space in the bedroom. This is in one of the cupboards across the hall. No curtains on full width window in lounge. This means that people staying in the Hampton by Hilton can see right in. People have mentioned a welcome pack. We got 4 teabags 2 coffee bags 6 milk sachets and 3 sugars plus 2 packs of biscuits in a small brown paper bag.

Location and size. Easy to book. Clean and well appointed. Welcome pack.

Parking should have been on site and for both cars. Dangerous dividing glass panel between hall and kitchen should have sticker on.

Minor issue for my parents in the shower room. No shelving or hooks to place their washing items. Tricky for my dad to use shower without any shelf surface to place things on.

No parking space. We had 2 cars and had to put them in a public car park. 1 car was paid for

Fantastic Location, very modern large luxurious flat, all furnishings and appliances were very high specification.

The apartment was amazing, The location was spot on. Definitely will book this place again. The lady in the reception area was very friendly and helpful, the apartment had everything you could imagine needing for a weekend away.

It would have been nice to have parking onsite, but it does not deter me from renting again. It was easy enough to park in the local car park but would be better to park at the apartment

The location and apartment were truly amazing The building was secure and the front desk staff were very helpful

The only thing was the mattress in the double room was awful and very uncomfortable
