Host & Stay - The Georgian Coach House 2

The location is perfect, the Georgian Quarter is a part of Liverpool that I didn’t know existed and it’s great for good bars, restaurants and cafes. 20 minutes walk from the city centre, 10 minutes from Bold Street. Very quiet neighbourhood. Great comfortable quirky property with everything you need.

No onsite parking but a couple of options within 5 minutes walk.

Beautiful place

No porters to help with bags.

The location was good and the local amenities were excellent

The upstairs bedrooms were quite dark with no outlook and the skylight was really dirty

Location was great. Nice kitchen/lounge area.

The mattresses are cheap, very soft. The vertical blinds in the living area/top of the front wall are missing - privacy issue when on upstairs landing. Some of the vertical blinds elsewhere are broken.

Location was very good, easy walk into the centre of town. Taxi about £8 to get back to property Some maintenance niggles were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Facilities were good such as microwave, dish washer washing machine. Tesco express 5 minutes away.

There were 6 adults in our party but only enough comfortable seating for 4. We stayed for 5 nights.

Location was good and facilities were ok.

The property was so unclean, it was hard for me to stay. There were hairs everywhere (pubic, head and dog hairs) as well as blood stains on one of the bed sheets. There was a moth infestation and carpet all ripped up at the entrance to one of the bedrooms. Sofa was extremely uncomfortable and we couldn’t get the heating or hot water on as the instructions they had left for the boiler, were for a boiler that didn’t exist in the property. The stay wasn’t cheap either, over £700 for two nights, so I expected a lot more. I have raised all this in a formal complaint which has just been ignored; I’d avoid at all costs.

The coach house was lovely and cosy everything about it was lovely

The windows above the front door need blinds or something you can shut as the people across the road look into the window

It had mice. Rodent droppings evident in the place and an actual mouse running across the bedroom floor. Yuk.

Lovely little property in a good location close to the centre of Liverpool

The top lock broke on our first day and we were outside on the pavement. Luckily we got it to work after 20 minutes with 3 people trying. We were told a locksmith would come but no one came at all for the full rest of the duration of our stay! We had to leave the top lock on the latch and only use the bottom lock if we wanted to go out!!! The kitchen is not very well equipped. There are no baking dishes and the cutlery is very poor quality. It’s a shame as it looks lovely but then the finishing touches let it down - and the beds are a bit narrow for the bedrooms and not very comfortable
