2 Bedroom 2 Bath I Next To Brighton Beach I Sleep 6

The property cancelled my stay mid morning of our arrival. Friends had travelled from all over the country for pride. I had to contact booking.com and organise the refund, which takes up to 12 days and I’m now having trouble chasing. The property haven’t replied to my messages.

We could not get hold of the owners so we paid our money and could not get in despite them confirming our booking so we were left stranded in Brighton with nowhere to stay!! They took our money and when we called and messaged them they blocked our calls!! Disgusting! We are now struggling to get our money back!!

Didn’t stay in properly due to maintenance so had to stay at another place by host

MICE INSIDE PROPERTY! DROPPINGS EVERYWHERE Heaters in one room didn’t work. One of toilets was blocked with no locking door. Lock on main door was about to break every time opened door. Wet blue paint on front door but no sign.

We arrived in Brighton with our children, the host did not answer the phone. They messaged saying call back later so I persisted calling. They then said that it was the wrong number - but he’d already text saying what’s the name on the booking, then proceeded to tell me I had the wrong number. This is a Sam, they have stolen my money. Booking.com have but returned my messages. I was left 200 miles away from home with my children with no where to stay, to top this off, this was a trip to cheer us all up to help deal with my recent Breast cancer diagnosis….. this is disgusting, abhorrent, it’s a scam. Do not book this. People who do this are vile. This is not the end!

Great location Apartment looks quite pretty and modern Owner reachable by phone Big bathrooms, looked great! Usually bathrooms are tiny so I loved that this property has big ones.

Advertised as for 6, if pushing maybe 4 people would fit there. I’m glad not all my friends could make it. There’s one double bed, one single bed, and the couch that can fit one person (maybe two small ones if pushing). There are not enough glasses or plates for 6 people even! 2-3 pieces of everything which is so random. Stairs outside need immediate upgrade as they look super dangerous, I wouldn’t attempt going down them after a couple drinks. And electricity/whatever it is cupboard next to the door doesn’t have doors, looks weird and dangerous not having it closed. There are no wardrobes even though there’s definitely space for them. Spare (?) duvet lie on the floor in the corners of the rooms and under the boiler. So weird I wouldn’t touch them even if I was cold! The garden would have been lovely to use for a morning coffee but it’s not maintained and there’s no garden furniture.
