4 bed home 3 mins from harbour + sandy beach

The location was fantastic. The heating quickly warmed up the house. Stair gates through the property. Prosecco and biscuits on arrival which was a lovely suprise.

You can hear every little noise throughout the house, but we just got on with it.

It is a lovely family house. We were 5 and it was very spacious. The kitchen and the lining room were a perfect size for us. The hosts were available and responsive for any need. The kitchen is well equipped, more than usual I find. The shower and the whole bathroom is lovely and comfortable, so are the beds. The garden was lovely even though we didn’t use it as it’s winter.

There were lots of homely touches at the property and it was cosy and warm (once we put the heating on!) The safety gates on every level were very good ,as we had a baby /toddler with us,however we could not find a high chair for our use ? Bedrooms were very nicely furnished and all roomy and comfortable . One negative was that the cold water “tap handle” kept on coming off and the same with the front right-cooker top controller, this was a problem ,as it was difficult to put back on and if not done properly you got a smell of gas escaping , even more worrying as there did not appear to be a carbon monoxide alarm visible in the kitchen/diner which I think is the law .

Things checked like the already mentioned small maintenance issues

Car parking was a little more challenging than we anticipated but otherwise the place was great.

Good location and responsive hosts who helped organise parking permits for 2 cars. Large bedrooms and bathroom.

Kitchen and living area located in the basement which lacks natural light. The kitchen would benefit from more utensils and better crockery for larger groups. Good for a family of 4ish only.

It was only a few minutes walk from the Harbour Arm and it had everything we needed.

It was a bit tired. There are lots of stairs which wasn’t a problem for us but I might be for some

Amazing location, close to harbour arm, very clean and stylish, has everything you need, you can book with family or friends but keep things respectful. Nice garden area, two lounges, kitchen is fully stocked with useful things, provided towels, nice Proseco and shortbread as gifts, constant communication with Ralph and William who own the house. Provided us with free parking for our stay in front of the house.

Shower head needs a little work, slides down and does not stay fixed in position. Quite noisy when going up and down the stairs but understand that the house itself is older. Not something that bothered us especially although you could hear it during the night.

Big property, accommodated all of us easily, spacious. Very easy to get to the harbour/waterfront. Nice garden - kids loved playing there and it is secure. Adults loved the lounge as was great to chill there after long days exploring.

There is only 1 bathroom which is normal for these types of houses but it is a bit of a stickler if all need to use it at the same time. A bit of planning needed. Also - there is no dishwasher, so everything has to be handwashed. Again - not a problem but if you are used to a dishwasher, this could be a surprise.

Spacious living areas and rooms. Easy walk to the Creative Quarter and harbour. Good parking options.
