The place was lovely! Great to have full kitchen and laundry facilities, as well as the record player in the shared living area. It was a great stay!

Some other guests left dishes in the shared living area - not the fault of the property and they were cleared away the next day. Just something to be aware of that there are some shared spaces.

This is only a bedroom, not an apartment as was advertised. BUT -- it's an awesome bedroom that is highly recommended.

Nice location in First Hill area near Seattle University.

The place was very nice. The problem is that the power was out for nearly 24 hours and had been out prior to our arrival at night. Had to find a restaurant open late in order to charge phones, and it was very cold in the apartment throughout the night and following morning. We were unable to take a shower or use the kitchenette. Although of course we do not fault the management/owner for a power outage, the problem is that we had to ask for some sort of recognition of the inconvenience at the conclusion of our stay. There was no service recovery offered or an apology for our inconvenience. The final offer was $30 off our stay which was about 10% of our overall charges. When I expressed my disappointment in that and the fact that we would happily return to stay here as my son attends Seattle University, the management refused to offer anything further, claiming a prorated daily charge for power being out half a day (it was out nearly 18 hours). Likely, this issue will not happen to future visitors but I felt it was important to share our experience.

The location is within walking distance of a nice cafe, the street parking was decent, the cleanliness was lovely, the other guests were respectful and quiet, the instructions for most things were very clear.

Suite 1 was actually a tiny bit hard to find. If you could include in the instructions that you have to go through the communal kitchen, that would be very helpful.

Clean and comfortable house, good location. The host is helpful and attentive. Highly recommend
