"Beautiful cottage in wonderful location"

All rooms decorated and furnished to a very high standard Kitchen exceptionally well equipped, although knives could do with a sharpen! Bathroom huge with lots of room for families - children bathing etc Bedrooms spacious and well equipped Garden secure enough and perfectly adequate for our needs, small dog.

Starter pack of logs/kindling for fire or a “No logs supplied” warning in cottage description to bring our own. Although have to say the cottage was perfectly warm and cosy. We just love a real fire (main reason for booking this cottage) especially as we arrived in the dark with snow and ice we were just looking forward to a real fire The only other slight niggle was perhaps a slightly narrower kitchen table would be better as when all seated difficult to get/move around to get things. But have to say beautiful cottage in wonderful location.

"Fabulous stay, we’d definitely stay there again."

The house was really lovely, not only well equipped and very comfortable but stylish too. Great location for visiting local places of interest and minutes walk to local pubs for good food.

A lovely house, perfect as a base for exploring the Peak District. Bakewell is within walking district, and the village pub was very welcoming with great food.

"Lovely home from home."

Bedrooms are lovely and beds are comfortable. Bathroom is absolutely stunning with all facilities needed. Living room is cosy and very homely. The owners are amazing and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Felt very safe and secure. My son is autistic and he felt so comfortable and at ease here. Definitely will be back!

Property was perfect. If I was going to be picky, it didn’t have a freezer and could have done with a downstairs toilet but we managed and had everything we needed.
