Lovely pool and braai area. Great staff

The rooms and bathrooms are not very clean. Not enough cutlery and glasses. Kitchen needs an update .

The lodge is located in a serene forest setting, far from the city. It offers a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by nature and the soothing sounds of birds, with a scenic drive through the forest leading to the lodge.

The place is poorly maintained. The rooms are not cleaned regularly, and bedding, toiletries, and refreshments such as coffee or tea sachets are not replenished after check-in. Both the rooms and the gravel road require significant upkeep.

From the moment we arrived and were ushered to our rooms to choose. The 1st sight was soo disappointing and the smell was atrocious. I knew from that second this was the going to be a looong 2 days. My gut did not fail me. The power went off. We went to go find out from the staff what was going on, they told us this normally happens and it'll be back in 30 minutes. They had no back up. Went to bed early the weather was beautiful it was raining cats and dogs but didn't enjoy it coz of the darkness. Could sleep the rooms especially the bed was filled with so much dust it was so bed even when we played their towels to sleep on after dusting the bed off. Woke up with with no electricity. Only 5 people out if the 18 family members we were with managed to bath, water supply shutdown because of electricity. Yooh this place was an utter disaster. Breakfast was not worth of value bathong. R150 EACH for bad eggs, untoasted bread and bad mince. The only eat able thing was the muesli and yogurt. The kitchen my word the kitchen was horrific disaster tle. Yooh guys that place is not to be booked until the owner takes care of it. It looks neglected besides that the staff are only maintaining it by cleaning it only but major fix has to be done. It is falling apart. Nothing was to it's standard. It has seen its better days. We only stayed the full 2 days because the kids were enjoying the pool and the taught of having a whole family together there with their cousins around. Or else we could've left the second we realized that there was no water. No water + kids = disaster, coz they using the toilets all the time. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Everything, the place, more staff to manage the lodgers and better ways to communicate with them in such disastrous times.

Breakfast was good

Nothing at all. Even we didn't have lights and water they managed to serve us .

I enjoyed how the place is hidden really because it is like a rare gem. I love the pool area but could not swim because it was raining. either than that, my room was nice and big. Also check in was very easy for us.

It was not bad at all.

It was beyond anyone.
