1001 Nights Boutique Hotel

Vanuit de hotelkamer rol je zo de Grote Markt van Haarlem op, dus qua ligging valt er niets te wensen. Je zit midden in het gezellige centrum van de stad.

Vorig jaar hebben we in dezelfde hotelkamer verbleven. De tekortkomingen die we toen hebben gesignaleerd bleken nog steeds niet te zijn verholpen (kapotte deurklinken en een loszittende toiletbril). Sterker: er waren nieuwe bijgekomen. Het toilet loopt door, de laminaatvloer is beschadigd (waterschade?) en glibberig. Het lijkt alsof er een waslaag op is aangebracht, waardoor het moeite kost om je benen bij elkaar te houden en niet in een split in elkaar te zakken. Onderhoud is blijkbaar een ondergeschoven kind.

Large room with separate toilet and bathroom (useful if a couple is staying), sitting area, dining area, tv, iron available. In common hallway there was a washing machine and microwave and also crockery and cutlery. These facilities shared with one other appartment. Quiet location (on Koningsatraat), excellent cafe across the street (where key safe was), very short walk to the main town square. This is the first time I have stayed in this type of accommodation rather than a 'typical hotel', so I was a bit nervous but I needn't have been. : )

There was nothing that I actively disliked. There were one or two things that could have been better; the curtains had a couple of holes in them, the window was difficult for me to close, even with the pole provided, there was dust on the tv console table. Personally, I would have found it helpful to have some instructions for the microwave, on how to turn on the heating, that sort of thing - just general information really but the lack of it wasn't a big deal.

Location

It's not a hotel, it's an apartment for rent. They don't take out the trash. I stayed for 3 nights and there were no services at all. Need to improve to clean the room (Dust).
