Host & Stay - Orchard Barn

A well-decorated and presented place to stay. There was plenty of space and comfortable living and sleeping arrangements. Parking was very easy and the hosts met us on arrival. The heating was easy to control. Good appliances - washing machine, dishwasher, cooking facilities. The shower was powerful and easy to use. There were some lovely little touches too - eggs and milk in the fridge, homemade ice cream in the freezer, toiletries available.

As there were 4 of us staying, it would have been useful to have a couple more plates and bowls of each size.

Very isolated location.

It was so relaxing and beautiful inside and outside. Very tastefully decorated and so comfortable. Loved the doors that opened in the bedroom and living area to the outside..view from bedroom on a morning was lovely. The smell inside the property was wonderful... very well resourced and the welcome pack was really good.

Het huisje is werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien. Een ruime voorziene keuken en allerlei lekkers als welkom. Het is super schoon en netjes. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en vinden je privacy belangrijk. Maar staan ook open voor een gesprekje of vragen. Toen oma jarig was kregen we zelfs wat lekkers van het feestje. Waar we overigens helemaal niks van hebben gehoord. We hebben genoten van warme middagen op het gras onder de appelbomen. Het is een klein half uurtje vanaf Dover dus echt een mooie plek voor een begin of einde van je vakantie.

Het huisje ligt vlak naast een weg en een kruising. Doordeweeks kan het redelijk druk zijn met langskomende en afslaande auto’s. Op zich niet heel erg maar het is niet compleet rustig mocht je dat zoeken.

Beautiful setting, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Well located for visiting nearby Port Lympne and Hythe.

Brudne okna,na oknach pełno pajęczyn, myślę że za 6 godzin które są pomiędzy wynajmującymi można to dużo lepiej posprzątać, gdy poprosiliśmy o rolkę papieru toaletowego właściciel odpisał że mamy sobie kupić we własnym zakresie myślę że za cenę £133 za noc wydanie kilkunastu pensów za rolkę papieru to nie jest duży koszt, naprawdę wstyd, mnie by honor na to nie pozwolił ale widać że właściciel jest nastawiony tylko na zysk nie dając nic w zamian

Lovely property. Well laid out and comfortably furnished. Everything that we needed. Beautiful surroundings.
