. facilities available on the cottage . lovely master bedroom with ensuite . the radio in the kitchen . electric blinds in the master bedroom . lots of towels . parking is very limited and I couldn't park in my space due to someone else parking there, host and stay called me to move my car but I was blocked in. luckily the person left a note and came to an agreement but this did spoil my stay worrying about this.

the cottage was not cleaned well. the bathrooms were clean but the carpet in the livingroom was stained and when my dogs ball went under the sofa I pulled it out to get it back and it was disgusting. the kitchen tap constantly dripped which gets annoying.

Overall I would highly recommend this as a place to stay to explore Whitby and the surrounding areas. We had a lovely time and would 100% stay here again. Considering the spec and location I thought it was excellent value. 3 storey cottage in Whitby (around 5 min walk from centre). The pictures are accurate, the master bedroom is particularly lovely. The kitchen is very nice with everything you would expect and all to a high standard. Nice touch to leave some chocolates and wine, little things go a long way. I would say, considering there are 4 bedrooms, the living area is maybe a touch small. 2 standard sized sofas were certainly fine but there were only 3 of us (and one big Labrador.) Parking is fine with one designated space. No electric charge point. Communication could be slightly improved but in the end everything was smooth at check-in and the app you can download is helpful. I've read some reviews about the internet but it is 70mbs speed so absolutely fine. . Thanks for letting us stay. We hope to return again soon!!
