The location is the main plus for me. The apartment is optimally situated. It's just 300m to the decent food store, SuperDino, and even shorter way to the sport complex, which I use as a gym. The distance to the nearest superb beach, Playa Mujeros, is 1450m, which is quite near by Playa Blanca standards. The string of undeveloped beaches beginning at Playa Mujeros and going to Playa Papagoyo and beyond offer wide range of options, from family-friendly to nudist to snorkeling. If you prefer to move on foot (I do), the villa is one of the closest to these beaches. If you go for a car drive, it's also very good. A trip to Playa Papagoyo would take about 10min, even less to Playa Mujeros. Just as a side remark: so called 'civilized' beaches around the center of Playa Blanca are small, crowded, and not always clean. The house is very quiet on both sides. The front entrance is from the blind way, not much traffic passing by. You can park your car on the adjacent street 20-30m from either of entrances. The kitchen is adequate with all utensils you might need. There are modern induction stove and electric kettle, both of them are not defaults in Spanish houses for rent. The caffe maker is an old good one with paper filters. I hate those later inventions with capsules. The complex has a shared pool, which I guess would be a huge plus for families with children. I never used it, but it's large (about 20m length), and clean judging from the look of it. The pool is beyond doubt much better that any of them pools in surrounding private villas. I tried one just recently - it's small, full of chemicals, and noisy at night. The complex's pool might be a good option if you don't want to go to the beaches or sea conditions are not welcoming. I stayed in the complex for the 3rd time, and am quite content with it. All in all I would recommend the house for couples with or without children.

The apartment (a townhouse indeed) is rather decent, albeit with weird plan: two bedrooms upstairs, one of them serving as a front entrance to the house, with sitting room/kitchen on the ground floor and alternative entrance from there. To reach this entrance you have to use shared wicket in the complex fence, with separate key and downward ramp. The sitting room has a large glass door, which is not of much use since it opens into narrow passage leading to other complex apartments. Another oddity is that the best bathroom with bide and all is downstairs and not conveniently reachable from the bedrooms. It's fair to say that the apartment plan is not by any means a fault of the owners. What can be easily done is to 1. rearrange beds so that the double bed is in main bedroom while twin beds are in the 'entrance' bedroom. 2. provide at least 3-4 rubbish-bags for one week stay (there was only one, and I had to purchase the whole roll. Not a huge expenditure but a bit of a nuisance) 3. bye a standard dining table. The table in the sitting room is kind of cocktail bar with 4 not quite comfortable perch chairs.

La cama de matrimonio necesita un cambio, el colchón y las almohadas muy bajas. Al poner la tostadora se saltaba la palanca de la luz, éramos cuatro personas y solo habían dos cucharas pequeñas, no dejaban bolsas de basura para el cambio. Para el precio esperaba algo un poquito mejor pero en fin son detalles que pudimos subsanar nosotros mismos
