No4 On The Door

The location was perfect for us. As both hubby and myself have walking difficulties and didn't have transport to get around we still managed the shops as they are not too far and its close to town centre.. Lovely coffee shop and gift centre just up the road. There was everything that we needed as soon as we arrived to make us comfortable. Tea , coffee and milk and sugar so we could just drop our cases and relax. Lots of appliances too if you fancy making a meal. Beautiful mountain scenery at the front of the property and outside you are surrounded by them. We had a very good stay.

The bed was a little too firm for us but that's just personal preference so it didn't affect our stay. Also stairs up to the apartment itself if you have some difficulty walking. I do but still managed them quite easily as there aren't many.

Clean.Tidy. Compact. Facilities were ideal and understandable given the nature of the property: essentially a single room with an ensuite bathroom, upstairs. Alexa was a quaint touch. The microwave had an oven and grill which was unexpected, though welcome.

WIFI was hit and miss, and repeatedly dropped. A quirky television, not connected to an aerial. The air fryer, but that's a personal choice, thing.

The flat was small but well appointed and in a central area

Difficult to find. The owner replied to our SOS quickly but even then the directions were unclear.

It was such a change to have a kitchenette. Room was clean and tidy.

We asked for twin beds and had a Queen bed. Apartment was not well marked. No soap, shampoo or conditioner provided in shower.

The kitchen had a lot of appliances but in reality you cook in the microwave or one pot hot plate. The bed was comfortable and the duvet the perfect weight for the warm weather we had. The owner was very helpful with our queries .

The room was facing the main road which has a lot of traffic so the closed double glazing was essential for quietness and sleep but then there was no air ventilating There was no supplied shower gel/ soap or shampoo - not our usual experience over months of international travel . Only hand liquid soap for the basin

Great appliances, very comfortable bed, fast replying host - we had a minor shower issue which she helped us fix instantly - and very quiet considering it faces a road with lots of traffic

I like it all, especially the facilities and cleaness of the property

We stayed two nights. Location was excellent. We walked down to the railway station in the morning to catch the Harry Potter train. Fort William was a lovely, quiet town. Washing machine was a great addition to the property.
