"Nice flat but let down by poor facilities"

5.0

A clean flat close to town centre.

The flat advert mentions the flat has its own entrance. This is wrong as it is shared with two others and cluttered with bicycles stored under the stairs. The TV didn't work properly, it kept loosing the internet signal followed by the picture freezing and a message saying something went wrong. There is no conventional oven or grill in the kitchen area, only a complicated microwave without instructions and an air fryer. I was looking forward to cooking a pizza for evening dinner but couldn't. Not worth the £180 a night I was charged.

"Comfortable"

7.0

The shower was great and the bed was really comfy. It had everything you need and really enjoyed the coffee machine

Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t really work, the network connected but then stopped after a while. We wanted a night of relaxation after a week hike streaming things on the TV, but the internet was not strong enough for it to work, so we couldn’t watch anything or use WiFi on our phones. We tried both networks. For such an expensive price, strong wifi seems like a must

"The apartment was well furnished and provided everything we required."

9.0

The location was great and very quiet so sleeping was uninterrupted . The washing machine and cooking facilities were excellent.

The only issue we had was the wifi was a little weak.

"Tiny single room with a kitchen counter, NOT a one-bedroom flat"

4.0

The bed was comfortable and the location was good. There is a an espresso machine and a fridge which is handy. There is wifi and the heating is quite good. Parking available.

This is NOT a flat/apartment. The ad is misleading and speaks of a bedroom and a kitchen - this is a single room, not a flat. The photos make it look like these are separate rooms and the description suggests the same. You walk in and there is a bed right beside a kitchen counter right beside a table with a pair of chairs. It’s tiny for the price. The shower was unusable - the water was either scolding hot or freezing cold. It’s unacceptable to not have access to a shower for the price of the accommodation. The stairwell leading into the property has no lighting and it’s quite dodgy to navigate the stairs in the dark with luggage. Overall, it’s a ripoff for a tiny space where you can’t even wash. It’s one step away from a hotel room but without all the benefits of having amenities included. Might as well book into the Travelodge. I’ve stayed in a bed sit room larger than this.

"3 nights in fort william"

7.0

Quiet,. Clean and comfortable. Reasonable walking distance to downtown, buses, and train. Small and basic.

Need to have instructions for the shower. Do not adjust it while in it. The internet was poor. The TV. was not usable as it restarted itself every few seconds. Maybe because of poor internet. The towels were nice and soft but left you covered in blue fuzz/lint. Hall and stairs were dingy, dirty.

"Wouldn’t recommend it unless you like tiny space with cheap furnishings and no access to anything."

6.0

It had a bed and a shower and some really cheap furniture (bedside tables felt like they were made of aluminum, cheap short lamps that knock over if you breathe near them). Other than that,it was clean.

For starters, the directions were so confusing to find the place, crappy parking directions, horrible location and entry way. The worst was opening the door and finding this tiny tiny room. For two people and three suitcases it was packed. Closet door was broken and then so stuffed with cleaning stuff you couldn’t use it. The drawers under the bed were locked, so no storage space there, we just used our suitcases as nightstands. Not within walking distance to anything. No book with instructions on anything, close restaurants, grocery shopping, that kind of thing. We were gone hiking during the day so only there at night. TV in really weird location so you couldn’t use it - I like to read and my husband likes to watch sports - the only way he could have would be to sit on the floor next to the awful closet. For the same price per night we had a cottage in Porter, lovely part of town, gorgeous, loads of space, a huge kitchen. I will investigate any other bookings more thoroughly from now on.
