Location was good

No bedding and no linen - unaware of this until we arrived - miscommunication with host and knowledge of this was provided by text just prior to arrival/ def not clear on booking.com website

Clean, quiet, secure and well situated. Shops just down the road from the entrance - delivery services available to collect at main gate. Friendly locals, parking just behind the property. Lovely grassed area to the front. All appliances and amenities working well and clean. It felt ‘friendly’ and well planned and thought out. Entry to the property and leaving were easy and clearly explained. Felt private and secure there. Great base for holiday.

Without a car I’d have struggled I think - electric fans would be a good idea as this week turned into a heat wave and it became a little oven in there. Bathroom door lock doesn’t work. Tiny problems, though. The lack of wifi is a small bugbear - I was aware of it before hand, though, and came prepared with extra data.

"Disgusting"

Nothing much, the journey out of there

Host ignored our messages. No toilet brush. No small saucepan. Duty microwave and kitchen cupboards. Found previous occupiers bits left behind.

"Charmed 319"

Nice little chalet to stay in. We were out all day and went back to the chalet late evening, so we didn't really spend much time in the chalet as the weather was lovely. Beds are very comfortable and the kids slept well. The chalet site is close to a club and amusements just off site down the road so that was handy for when we got back in the evening and wanted to go back out for a drink. The chalet has everything that's needed for a stay. Will definitely book again in the future.
