Cabin 246 Riverside, Glan Gwna

Spacious, clean, tidy. Excellent value for money. Good location for walking around Snowdon. Swimming pool was an added bonus. Very quiet and peaceful location.

The only downside was the little shop and cafe was closed all week.

Clean and tidy on arrival. Super location for visiting Wales. Lovely host.

Would be helpful to have some cooking utensils, ie serving spoons, fish slice, wooden spoon etc. Oven dials have worn off so guess work when cooking dinner. Otherwise had everything we needed.

Beds a little uncomfortable

The location is great and there’s lots to do locally. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was nice and clean.

The bathroom was very poor. The shower had no pressure and the toilet was leaking. The place was very cold and damp when we arrived. The floors were wet and cold with condensation. The heating system is an electric card which you buy from a local garage. Some of the cards we were sold didn’t work so we ran out of electricity.

Location for Zip world was good. Located in a quiet setting Good communication before arriving Good amount of kitchen utensils

The cabin was not clean: Half drank carton of apple juice on the kitchen side Half eaten box of doughnuts in the cupboard along with an empty box Pubic hairs in shower No toilet roll No bin bags You have to purchase your own electric cards which is a 5 minute walk away. Not ideal if you are half way through a shower which were. Shower trips even with all other elctrical items turned off. Electric is used up quickly by appliances. There is no dust pan and brush so you have to use the hoover which obviously uses the electric. This is a shame as if the above issues were sorted it would be an ideal base.
