1 Bed Apt - Amazing Location 1 Block to Carson St

Great online communication with host. Apartment was clean and functional. We had no issue with the apartment or the host.

I parked my motorcycle right in front of the property. Public street parking. I kindly asked a neighbour passing by if it is ok to park there. I was told that her roommate usually parks there and as long as she can still park there will be no issue. When we came back my morotcycle was layed on the ground. To teach me a lesson I guess. In short beware of the location and the surroundings. People seem entitled to damage your property if you dare to park in "their spot".

Worked for us but parking is a real issue

Location to downtown restaurants and shops and all walkable

Creepy entrance...was not very clean...looks aesthetically clean but hair and dirt all over the walls, baseboards are all dirty... cobwebs in ceiling corners... tons of dust or lint coming out of heat vents and smells damp/mildewy.

Comfortable

The neighbors upstairs don't sleep they was very loud walking hard on the floor. No parking close by

The apartment was in a very good location, being one block from the main drag. The main room was quite spacious. The bed was quite comfortable and the kitchen area was very useful.

The apartment wasn't very clean and being in a basement smelt damp and musty. The bathroom was ok, but there was rust everywhere. The kitchen area was ok, but once again could have been cleaner. The oven, aprt from the gas hob, was unusable because there was a big freezer in the way. The bedrrom was ok but was right next to a little room where all the central heating boilers were. It got very noisy at times during the night. But by far the worst aspect of this place was the noisy neighbours upstairs! They seemed to take great delight in stomping all over the place at all hours of the night. Not very restful. In fact, we hardly got any sleep!

It's a nice clean apartment that's close to the main street. You can walk to Pittsburgh's downtown area but it takes about an hour.

I couldn't find a grocery store nearby, though admittedly I didn't look too hard.
