Varenna by Foot (no Taxi / Car needed)

Very conveniently located with 2 minutes walk to ferry/water. View of Lake Como and snow capped mountains from windows. Clear running stream heard outside windows of bedrooms.

Everything was good.

Location. Clean and comfortable. Close to train station, restaurants, market.

Nothing.

The location is perfect for walking around the city and exploring the area. Very easy access. The apartment is spacious and could fit 8 people comfortably. The host was very attentive and helped us organise the transfers and have us information and recommendations whenever we needed.

Personally I enjoyed the sound of the river when going to sleep, but some people found falling asleep with that noise a bit hard. It could be a plus or a minus depending on your preferences.

Appartement très propre et très bien équipé . Il ne manquait rien. Literie très confortable. Sergio a été très serviable et attentionné. Il nous a donné toutes les infos nécessaires et mention spéciale à son ami Andrea qui nous a cherché au parking pour nous conduire à la résidence Il y avait même de quoi faire un petit déjeuner Tout était parfait y compris la situation à deux pas du lac et des restaurants Nous recommandons fortement cet appartement

The place itself was spotless, very spacious, and had all the amenities we could ask for. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
