Excellent location and host, who provided perfect food recommendations! Very good value for money and really enjoyed being able to relax in a quiet lounge area.

We stayed in twin room upstairs, which has a bright light shining in all night plus uncomfortable beds and pillows. It’s also not designed for tall people (but neither is anything else in Japan!)

New and clean

Cute guesthouse with a traditional touch. The owner was accommodating and made sure I could pick up my backpack again after check out. I loved my short stay in this town, I met some really nice locals and the samurai castle was a great discovery.

The house can get quite cold, but there is heatings in all rooms that you can turn on.

Great host, lovely common area and simple but comfortable rooms. Our room was also warm for arrival.

Bathroom was very cold and guesthouse is not easily accessible without a car.
