Sea Lavie Homestay@Kota Kinabalu (海旅维)

I like several things: 1. Convenient location with many convenience shops and eateries 2. The main jetty to the islands is just a 5minute walk away 3. Fantastic view of the sunset and night view of Kota Kinabalu city

A bit confusing to get into the carpark, but that is a minor quibble. Also, it is a popular place so lifts can get crowded during check in and check out.

A comfortable room with two bedroom & bathroom suitable for 4 people. The room with sea view and downstairs have few restaurant.

Bathroom light bulb is small and not bright. Second bedroom don't have full length mirror. Not provided parking lot and much pay parking fee each time entry the building (Credit card or Debit Card only).

It did feel like home for us. We got everything we needed. The whole place overlooks the pier and the sea which makes it money worth. The decorations were one of the nicest I have seen. The beds were so comfy and soft as if we were sinking into clouds. The kitchen was fully and well-equipped, we didn't cook but it would have been perfect if we had decided to. The location is right in the middle of all the actions. Just a few minutes walk to Suria, and the Sunday market. Moreover, the host was super kind and responsive. She/He even checked on us when we missed our flight and had to check in late. I planned on booking with them after coming back from Sandakan but I was too late and the unit was sold out. Check-in was easy and smooth as well. You just got clear and detailed instructions which you could just simply do so by yourself.

The flat was clean and well-equipped; it was in a great location to explore KK on foot. The views across the bay to the islands were lovely, especially for sunsets.

The mattress on the double bed was too hard for us and the bed-settee (we were a family of 5) was also very hard.

It's spacious clean apartment. Nice view.

We are so satisfied to stay here. It was a complete house with all the facilities. You have filtered water in the house, can make some simple cookings too bcz kitchen utenails also complete. The host guided as clearly how to get into the house. Suitable for 4 people stay. We were 3 of us. My daughter infact said 'Amma i like this home', and she could feel the comfort at her age of 3. The view from the house so brilliant. We enjoyed seeing closely the sea view, airplanes and ships. We put up for 3days and 2nights, should have considered to stay thr one day more. There are car parking areas at the visitors parking, suggesting for anyone who plans to stay with ur car, park at the visitors parking, outside parking seems like not safe, and can see some samman tags on some cars. Its quite cheap and safe in visitors parking.
