Great location, right by the harbour and right on the route of my coastal walk! friendly and helpful people (next door in the actual JJ's restaurant/bar - check in there; food/cocktails looked good too; also three other pubs/restaurants on same street); everything in very good condition (newly renovated?); imaginative decor, different in each room!

No issues but maybe worth saying that I sent a message about check-in on the Booking platform and didn't hear back, then when I arrived I was not on the list that the staff in the bar were working from. However, I don't think there was ever any chance the "Booking booking" had gotten lost or that the room could have been double-booked or whatever, and the confusion was soon cleared up. Also, if I'd really needed a reply to my message, I could have called, so I suggest you do that if you have any questions. (Would have rated 9 rather than 8 but for this. Would also definitely go back notwithstanding.)

A very good choice of breakfast on the menu. We had a full English which was delicious & good value for money

Simple but super clean, comfortable, colourful and imaginative. I like it when a bit of spirit has clearly gone into a place- I'll be back!

Great themed rooms and friendly staff

Great location and a fabulous room, decor was amazing with a comfortable bed and a very good shower. Very easy to find and check in, very friendly and helpful.

The front door was a little noisy as it was sticking slightly.

Great location, and their Steak & Chips on Thursday night with peppercorn sauce is the BEST!
