Nice looking apartment, friendly staff, good parking and good amenities available inside the room.

Maintenance needed - living room radiator not working, toilet flush needs replacing, some lights were not working properly. Room smelt of cigarettes.

The location

⭐ 1/5 – Extremely Disappointing Stay The apartment was in a perfect location for the show we were seeing and close to everything we needed. The security staff on-site were lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. We checked into Room 29 and were shocked by the state of it. As soon as we opened the door, we were met with a strong smell of smoke, despite it being advertised as a non‑smoking apartment (and we are non‑smokers). The bed was unmade, the kitchen was a mess, and the bath even had cigarette ends in it. The whole place felt dirty and completely unacceptable. When booking, we were asked to send ID and told we had to pay a £150 security deposit in case we broke any rules—yet the apartment we were given clearly hadn’t been cleaned and didn’t follow the non‑smoking rules at all. We went back down to security, who were kind but explained they don’t handle cleaning and advised us to contact Booking.com. We then phoned customer service, who were also lovely. They told us they had no other rooms available but could send someone to clean Room 29, although they didn’t know how long it would take. We had an event to attend, so waiting around wasn’t an option—and the smoke smell alone wouldn’t have been resolved. We were then told the booking was non‑refundable, but we could be moved to another apartment elsewhere. The alternatives offered were all around 25 minutes away from where we needed to be, making them impractical for us. Overall, the original apartment was vile, and the experience completely ruined what should have been a simple, enjoyable stay. Very disappointing.
