Very close to all seasides with good bus links if wanting a break from driving. Very spacious property and great facilities.

Is it an exaggeration to say this house outside of Filey is the best place I've ever stayed in... and I'm a world traveller? Not least because it was a BARGAIN price for absolutely LUXURY! I booked this for my family hookup - me and my two kids; my sister and her child; my elderly mother celebrating her birthday, and my sister and her boyfriend. We were on a tight budget, and were going to book a caravan site, but we saw this at £35 a head for 3 nights... cheaper than 2 caravans! This huge, clean, gorgeous and well equipped, inspiring house brought us together in happiness, far more than a cramped caravan would! The house is a dream - I knew it had 4 bedrooms but it goes on and on flowing with more rooms than I expected. A second living room that the kids claimed... a little meeting room upstairs where they played games... multiple TVs with Netflix, even an XBox, tons of board games, a log burner (though I didn't get chance to get firewood to use it) a spacious kitchen, clean comfortable beds, lovely wooden doors and floors... there's even a little garagey outhouse through the kitchen with washing facilities and cleaning stuff. It's in the quiet village of Muston, which is very quiet and peaceful, but only a short drive from Filey. We also went to Scarborough and Flamborough Head. Parking is easy, keys easy to access, instructions clear. We wouldn't hesitate to book this place again! Thank you so much!

It would be ridiculous to nitpick here. My mum couldn't get normal TV working to watch Corrie, but she had hundreds of other channels. There were a couple fruit flies going round when we arrived... we quickly learned to bag up any rubbish. Thank you for such a wonderful house!

Everything was perfect. The house has plenty of space, location is very good, all places to see are near by. Suitable for couples as well for families with kids.

I think the house could be little bit cleaner. There was some hair in the bath when we arrived and also some plates and glasses in the kitchen could be washed. I would rate 9/10

The house was roomy, clean and comfortable, it was great for our family of five and very well equipped. The location was also great next door to the pub and a short distance to visit Filey and Flamborough.

Great location, pub next door is good for food and quiet so no disturbance. Very clean overall and warm. No wood provider for log burner which would have been nice in the autumn/winter.

Disappointed that the £500 deposit is refunded only at £485 as there is an admin charge! No breakages should be a full refund and all costs should be included in the price you pay to rent. Fridge door holder broken already on arrival and it cost us a pint of milk - but I don’t get a refund of that or an admin charge! Parking is awkward - instructions say don’t park in the path but neighbours asked us to do just that to free up more space for them to get in and out. As others found -the cooker hood is quite dangerous if you are taller than 5ft plus it was dirty and dusty on top.

The location was ideal. The washing machine and clothes line were a good addition. Beds were clean and comfortable. Parking spaces were always available. 2 sitting rooms.

The property wasn’t very clean, especially given there is a £100 cleaning fee on top of the price quoted. There were cobwebs everywhere, the cutlery, glasses etc weren’t clean. There was no washing up liquid in the kitchen, no towel or soap in the downstairs toilet, the only tea towel in the kitchen was marked and had holes in. The extractor fan is dangerous and 3 members of our party hit their head on it more than once! There was no kitchen roll provided and only 3 toilet rolls for 6 people to last 4 days. Again given there is a £50 service charge I would expect these things to be provided for the duration of the stay (which I am sure was the response to a question on booking.com that enough of both would be provided for the duration of the stay) There are no locks on any doors, there should at least be locks on the downstairs toilet door and the main bathroom door! The dining table is too big and heavy for where it is situated. If someone is sat on the 2 chairs side by side access to the kitchen is blocked. Sash windows in the bunk bed room did not appear to lock. Open and half full bottles of wine and soda had been left in one of the kitchen cupboards along with an empty sanitary towel wrapper in one of the bedroom draws (front bedroom on the right at the top of the stairs, second draw down to the left of the bed)
