Enchanting

Quiet scenery and takes u back in time to a gentle place

The place and location was stunning. The rooms were beautiful exactly like the photos.

We booked to stay in the Shergar Suite and only stayed there a few hours. We had very little hot water so the bath they have isn't much use unless you like a cold bath. We had a leak from the upstairs suite so had to be moved. Although the room we were moved to was lovely and a lot bigger it just didn't have the same vibe. It was more modern than rustic and didn't have the cosy feel about it. We had no outdoor seating/lighting at the main hall so completely different to what we booked/paid for. We would've been happy with a like for like room. The hosts were really accommodating and acted quickly when the leak happened but we found it did dampen our whole weekend. We're planning on giving it a second chance and hopefully it will deliver and make up for it.

the jacuzzi bath couldn’t be filled other then by the kettle to get warm as not enough hot water which we spent hours to fill as was the main reason we chose this property

Great overall property , good views and area Tea & coffee provided , comfortable bed and large bath perfect for couples

It was cold ! As the heaters were difficult to work and electric heaters cannot be left unattended ! , lack of lighting in the bathroom around that makes it difficult to get ready , also whilst pans were provided a lack of a frying pan put a dampener on things , also was advised as quiet but there was a lot of noise especially children screaming at all hours

Our roof started leaking heavy with water moved to another room and still no hot water

The space was well equipped, quiet and comfortable.

We couldn’t get the heaters on so it was cold. Appreciate the building is old and keeping heat in would be tricky. The blanket was appreciated; some instructions for how to work the heaters would go a long way.
