The Rose 710: Top Floor City Aprt with Balcony

No courtesy Parking Facilities for guests & shopping Centre parking facilities are very expensive (we paid around R250 per night) for parking ONLY.

Location was very good for our plans. We wanted access to cafes, restaurants, but also food shops if we wanted to eat in.

The only thing in the apartment that could do with changing was the coffee table, as its too low to eat from. So when cooking and eating in we had to sit on the sofa, or the floor. A proper table and maybe a couple of fold up chairs would help a lot. The 24hour security at the desk, face recognition for the lift. The night time guard was a wonderful guy, so I hope this review gets passed on to him. There were a few dodgy characters on the streets, so don't walk around with gold chains hanging around your necks. The hi viz project people are around in numbers and will occasionally stop and ask if you need guidance if you look like a fish out of water. If other People try and stop of ask for stuff, just keep walking.

The location was good. Close to so many restaurants, cafes, stores, places of interest etc. Also liked the security of the building. The pool area and the view was fantastic but I never swam as too cold for me. Met everything clean and the apartment had everything one would need to self cater except a coffee machine /French press. There is an electric kettle for instant coffee or tea. Host also very responsive.

The room space quite tight. Can only accommodate 2 persons. Anything more than 2 would be way too over crowded. Would have also appreciated more toiletries if anyone staying up to a week. Would have also been nice to have had a couple of bottles of water as a welcome. Appreciated the tea, milk, sugar, salt & black pepper.
