City Centre Dockside Apartment - 2 Bed, 2 Bath

Location is amazing! Great parking, our host was very attentive and responsive.

The instructions for entry were difficult, but could be remedied by Malcolm putting a bright ribbon on his lock to better identify it. The building and apartment smelled like cigarette smoke, but Malcolm has a clear instruction in the apartment to only smoke outside. Perhaps the previous guest did not follow this. The pillows were very hard and soiled, so the first night sleep was poor. The following day I called Malcolm and he brought over 4 new, very comfy pillows. Problem solved! We also expected king size beds based on the write up, but both of the beds are queen. Malcolm should remedy this in his write up. We would also suggest that he get a coffee maker. All of that whining being said, any remedies to these concerns could be easily taken care of and our rating would immediately go up to excellent.

Location was fabulous Beds were really comfy Host was available by phone to assist with locating carpark.

Being told the lock box was secure when it is obviously broken and can be disconnected from the pole. Having only one key for two couples and no where to leave the single key for both to use was annoying. The instruction for location of carpark mentioned an "arch" which is a curved structure was misleading. The instruction saying the lockbox was one of 3 but there were only two lock boxes was misleading. The instruction for putting out the rubbish is ambiguous. The wifi worked initially when we arrived and next day it would not work and nor would TV. Response was where to locate network and password details but this was not the issue. There was no shower mat in ensuite. There is no lock on door of second bathroom The dish cloth was old and dirty. The bathrooms had a weird smell. Some of us thought it was the plumbing, I thought it maybe mould?

Location brilliant. Balcony fantastic. Great size

Maybe an odour in the bathrooms from the plumbing but maybe this was an issue out of the control of the property owners.

Great location within walking distance to city centre. Clean and comfortable apartment. Great that it had a washing machine and a carpark space.

There was a a sewerage like smell coming from the main bedroom bathroom.

While the washing machine worked, the dryer did not.

The apartment was perfect!

The address on the booking was incorrect so it caused some issues when find the apartment. Directions were vague and could have been more specific when arrival instructions were sent but we were able to eventually find it.

Clean, beautiful, terrific views, very walkable, safe on site parking, responsive host, close to all we wanted to do in Galway!

Initially we had a hard time finding the parking garage. Host was incredibly responsive and helpful!
