La casa estaba todo muy limpio y tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable, no nos faltó de nada y todo muy nuevo.

Location is really good. Walking distance to all the Belém attractions. Quake museum, Coach museum, Ajuda Palace, Jeronimo monastery, Naval museum etc try to give yourself an hour or two to go to the Portuguese School of Equestrian Arts just around the corner. The apartment is in a nice quiet neighbourhood of Ajuda, lots of coffee shops, little supermarkets, restaurants and an Auchan and Minipreço within 3 minutes walk. Parking was good because we found a spot almost at the door. Parked up and walked, or used Uber, to get around for the week. Many bus and tram routes available from Boa Hora stop just 2 minutes walk away. Owner was lovely, responsive and accessible on WhatsApp at any time and remote check in easy. The apartment was really great. Clean and fresh, Lovely decor, comfortable bed, great courtyard garden out back which is a haven of peace after a day of sightseeing. The aircon kept it cosy and warm inside in this January cold. It was a perfect size for a couple. No stairs to deal with was a big plus too. The kitchen was fully fitted with everything one could need right down to a whisk, there is a washing machine, good sized fridge and freezer and dishwasher. Bathroom is good, clean and fresh, plenty of counter space and hooks to hang towels. Hairdryer supplied. Cleaning equipment and supplies available. We kept the bathroom window open on tilt and had no problems with condensation at all. The bedroom has ample wardrobe space, is quiet and the bed really comfy. I found the pillows too soft, but there are spares in the wardrobe so I was happy. All in all, a great, value for money find in a good neighbourhood. Definitely on my shortlist for our Lisbon getaways in the future.

Nothing the owner can do about this, but the wheelie bins are stored in the lobby right at the front door. The smell was sometimes horrible. We took to opening the little windows on the main door and that helped a lot.
