Host & Stay - Farthings

This house had plenty of space and had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The location is great - near the harbour and shops and close to the Co-op and railway station. We liked that it had two bathrooms and spacios accommodation including a great outdoor area. There were lovely views from the property.

There was a short, fairly steep private road to access the property.

Superb venue, everything needed close by. Comfortable, well furnished house with a useful enclosed area for our pooch. Thoroughly recommended.

Nothing really. Anyone unsteady on their feet might struggle with the short, steep approach to the house so perhaps not ideal for the elderly. A car negates that, however, and the location more than makes up for the slope.

If you want to be in the centre of Whitby, this is the one for you! While it seemed to be up a bit of a back street, it was really handy for all Whitby had to offer and also for bus stops and the train station (as well as the Coop for the odd bit of shopping). Parking for up to 3 cars was very handy too.

It's really much as advertised, so not much to complain about!

The location was excellent. A short stroll to the centre of Whitby close to everything. Well equipped and clean.

The mattress in the main bedroom wasn’t very comfortable.

Clean , very well presented, everything you need at hand, very close to everything and quiet.

Green bin was full to capacity

A good location close to the centre of Whitby but very quiet with private parking for 2 cars on the drive. The bed was very comfortable.

There was no washing machine. The standard of cleaning was poor in the main living areas.

Loved the location - the bungalow was very comfy with excellent outdoor space. The view from the patio is fabulous.

No wardrobe in the 2nd bedroom and could use a large mirror in there as well.
