Al Picchio Verde A.P.S.

A very quiet space just outside Cunardo, the friendly owners received us well, and we could see the amount of attention that was given to the preparation of our bedroom and bathroom.

no complaints really, only one suggestion for the breakfast to add foods that are less rich in carbohydrates like e.g. eggs and plain yogurt.

Great staff, great location. Outdoors pétanque area, with playing balls freely available. If you're into birds, the owner / caretaker (?) has got lots around, is passionate about them, and will be more than happy to talk about it (in either Italian, or French). Nice breakfast buffet included (dairy free milk and vegan croissants can be provided instead of standard ones if the request is made in advance). If you've got a tent, you can pitch it in the garden / yard.

Not necessarily a major issue, but the owner / caretaker only speaks Italian and some French. Boris (who's at least around for breakfast) does speak English too.

The amazing and beautfull garden with the view of the mountains. Big room, confortable bed and delicious breakfast.

The apartments kitchen made preparing breakfast and simple meals easy. The local restaurants, and snack bars made up for any gaps.

Nothing really, a perfect place to stay

The host was amazing! The rooms are great.
