Spacious 2 Bed, 2 Bath apartment -The Shore, Leith

the property was very spacious, had a lot of room for the four of us and it gave us enough privacy.

the only thing that needed a little improvement was the cleanliness of the bathroom - it was okay, but it could be better

Spacious, clean modern flat and the beds were super comfortable. Great location for Leith and bus/trams all within a couple of mins walk. Really useful secure parking too.

Being on the main road it was a bit noisy but not really a problem

Location close to restaurants that we had booked, also bus stop outside apartment with choice of buses to city centre.

Would have preferred to have instructions for entry codes and parking night before travel rather than on day of travel. Very clean and tidy apartment, with all that was required.

The shower curtain in the en-suite showed patches of damp and dark discolouration so did not use shower. In kitchen chopping boards were dirty and we did not use cooking pans because they were dirty and rusty.

Cleanliness, location

I liked the modern style and spaces, the beds were really comfortable and the ambiance was feeling like a home. The property was stocked with basic courtesy stuff like coffee, tea and sugar and other products left behind by previous guests, which was nice. It is possible to cook and avoid spending money to eat out so I would strongly recommend it for young couples with pr without children or groups of professionals. The two bathrooms are really convenient and allow for two couples to travel together if needed.

Basic toiletries were not provided, except hand soap so we had to buy some shampoo and shower gel for 4 days. Only a set of towels per person +1 was provided and one was dirty and not properly washed so couldn't be used. I asked for an extra one and my request was completely ignored. Rude. The host did not show up at any point as the whole property management is automated, which is good for privacy but not when you have problems. Overall the home was big and the heating system blocked at 21.5 degrees so the house was cold overall, especially at night. The location is in Leith, the port area, so 20 min bus and more from the city centre. This needs to be kept in mind if renting for tourism purposes.

Due to the location of the house, it was easy to reach everywhere. There is a bus stop in front of the house where you can go everywhere. Market, cafe and bar are very close to the house. There is everything we need in the house. We had a very enjoyable time. definitely recommend..
