Flåm Holiday Home

The house is big, charming and extremely clean. It provides everything one needs in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Very much appreciated the white, spotless sheets and bedding. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Quiet and peaceful area but still very easy to reach the town centre and the cruise terminal. Easy check-in and check-out, large parking area in front of the house and a very cute front yard. We highly recommend this property to anyone that wishes for a perfect stay in Flam.

all the previous homes we stayed in had the very basic cooking stuff (salt, sugar, tea), it would have been nice if these things were there.

Absolutely beautiful home on the outskirts of Flåm…only a short 15 minute walk to town. We were there for just one night, but it was very clean, the kitchen had everything you’d need and it had a rustic, comfortable charm about it. We only used two rooms, but there were at least two more available upstairs. This would be a great place for a family getaway. Bonus: a short walk from a trail leading up to the waterfall overlooking Flåm.

Positives The location is around half a mile walk to the Flam train station. Walking up to the house at night is not advisable as there are no street lamps. Bring a flashlight 🔦 with you if you arrive late. Your landmark will be the fall that is right across the house. The house is colored white next to the red house, which is another hostel like accommodation. Leaving the house checkout to the Flam train station, we opted for the shuttle car, which is 75KR per person. We didn't feel like lugging our luggage around. So you do have the option for the car shuttle if you want. Waterfalls It is near the waterfalls, which is really nice waking up in the morning and just watching the scenery. Negative It would have been nice if they provided coffee or tea. Overall, it was a comfortable nice accommodation.
