Lesbury Lodge - (a 'bijou residence') with hot tub

it had everything you needed, very small but comfy, there was a wee park opposite to run the dog and the enclosed garden was fab for the dog

you had to drive to most places although you could walk but on a busy road,

the property was cosy and the facilities were ample including everything you need for a self-catering getaway

there was nothing to complain about in this property

Great location.

This property has all the facilities you need whether it be a single night or a week. The rooms are clean, there is ample kitchenware and appliances, the living room and bedroom are very comfortable, and the hot tub is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours in the evening.

Everything needed was there, including washing up liquid, cloths and tea towels which aren't usually provided in self catering properties. Fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee much appreciated. Shower nice and powerful. Sky TV a bonus. Good free WiFi. Nicely placed in a quiet, leafy area in easy reach of Alnwick Town and the coast. Very clean, carpets and sofa seemed new.

Very cold even in mid-May. Although there is an electric fire in the living room and plug-in heater in the bedroom, it takes a long time to warm up. Wouldn't want to stay here in Autumn/Winter months. Nice big cupboard with plenty of hangers in the bedroom but clothes freezing after being in there. Bed unfortunately not very comfortable, but of course, tastes differ in this. Seemed perhaps a bit worn out.

Everything was amazing very friendly and welcoming hosts. The Lodge is so peaceful we will definitely be back. Lesbury Village is beautiful close to Alnwick and Alnmouth as well we loved our stay as did the dogs. Many thanks and will definitely be back in the future.
