Lesbury Lodge - (a 'bijou residence') with hot tub

Basic facilities

Nice village location. The cottage was cosy and warm for the two of us. Convenient to access local tourist destinations.

Nothing really. Got confused with the Lesbury House Lodge across the road lol.

All we needed was provided. The location was good for visiting both the Northumbrian coast and Alnwick. The Coach Inn was 5 min walk away and good for pub meals (but closed Mon & Tues). Village community shop well stocked and has newspapers.

The homely feel.

There was a bit of a bad drain smell in the bathroom.

Small and cosy. Enclosed garden for our dog. Everything we needed. Excellent communication.

Very old bed, but comfortable.

The property was very small, bedroom had an extremely bad damp smell, shower powerful but needs attention as it has a mind of its own, turned itself back on after being turned off. Kitchen utensils and equipment need a thorough clean as all very greasy, did not use😡. Lastly the hot tub does not compensate for all the faults. Hottub was luke warm the second night and after spending time with the owner on the phone to try rectify the problem, was asked to use it on the morning of our departure instead. Not good.

The property is in an ideal location and was just what we’d hoped for - clean, comfortable (especially the bed) and private. Has everything you could need.
