The Phenix Historic DTWN Hotel, King Bed Room #300

With no human face it felt like a science fiction horror film. Feels like a Northern European city hotel with modernest design. All the glass didn’t shine, glass should shine. Excellent concept .I loved seeing an old building saved.

Drapes would not close able due to poor designs.

Very clean room, well-furnished. Very good bed.

Hallway echoes terribly. Can hear every door slam, every conversation in the hall. The growing practice of no hotel employees on duty is a disaster. Need a new towel, or more coffee creamers? Sorry, gotta wait until the maid shows up.

The location was excellent. We loved that it was walking distance to so many restaurants.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The size of the room, the bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom shower as great! It was wonderful having the coffee shop next door.

The location was great, walking distance to the amphitheater where we were seeing a concert. It was very stylish and nicely appointed. So nice to have the coffee shop downstairs for a delicious cup in the morning.

The slamming doors in the hallway were very loud, the sound carried and was quite startling in the middle of the night. The lack of parking was tricky, especially with the concert happening, the garage was full before we could check in at 3. We were directed to a lot behind the garage where we were told to park for free, which was great, but worried that we would be towed if left overnight. I moved to a space on Broad St. across from the hotel, and we made sure to leave before our time was up (1 hr parking 8am-5pm). The garage is closed after 11pm.

This was such a beautiful place to stay! Check in was super easy. Loved the location and bonus to have decent perk coffee!! We'll definitely return!

Amazing location, beautifully clean, free laundry facilities

the delivery of the codes. we are elderly and were confused to find no one to greet us. Without the codes, we couldn't get it. Luckily at the pleasant nearby bar, a computer-savvy gentleman helped us finally get the two codes necessary to enter. After that, everything was quite lovely.
